The Jungle

The world is my jungle and this city is my playground. We live in a world surrounded by animals – literally and figuratively. There are some similarities that are displayed by man and animals either physically, mentally, and socially.

 

Whenever someone asks us “If you are an animal, what would you be and why?”; we would normally choose an animal that exhibits similar behavior and qualities that we possess. The actions performed by an animal can be sometimes compared to a human being. And sometimes humans exhibit some patterns of animal behavior that scientist support through the theory of evolution and adaptation. This project aims to show the similarities between human and animal behavior. In this series of images, we will be comparing how an animal personifies a certain behavior and how a man animalizes his own actions. Some photos will show the similarities of the social interaction of humans and animals. These photos aim to present that sometimes we display and manifest some behavior similar to animals without even noticing it. We are capable of executing animal-like behavior as animals are capable of performing human-like traits. Man may possess the higher intellectual capacity, but we may sometimes bring ourselves down to an animal thinking due our actions.                  

 

No matter our habitat – whether the city or jungle, man and animals may exhibit the same social, behavioral and intellectual characteristics.
